About Braz

Braz Foundation is a Netherlands based non-profit organization that works with microfinance institutions in developing countries.
 
The purpose of Braz is to collect donations from people in developed countries and to lend these donations to entrepreneurs In developing countries so they can help themselves out of poverty.
 
When you donate with Braz, you can directly choose the project that you want us to lend to and follow its progress through the Braz website.
 
Braz's mission is to alleviate poverty by providing microfinance institutions with access to low-cost capital. We believe that supporting the local entrepreneurs is the only realistic and sustainable way to create wealth and decrease global inequality. Braz has an extensive of network of local partners (community centers, banks, charity organizations) in the developing countries. Local trusted partners source and screen entrepreneur's business ideas and handle the local loan transactions. Braz applies proven best practices in its operations in order to make sure that the microfinance operations it is involved in are world class opportunities to help the developing world.
 
Braz's Vision is centered around sustainable poverty eradication during our lifetime. We believe that this can be achieved through enabling local entrepreneurship in developing countries.
