Braz Foundation is a Netherlands based non-profit organization that works with microfinance institutions in developing countries.

The purpose of Braz is to collect donations from people in developed countries and to lend these donations to entrepreneurs In developing countries so they can help themselves out of poverty.

Braz's mission is to alleviate poverty by providing microfinance institutions with access to low-cost capital. We believe that supporting the local entrepreneurs is the only realistic and sustainable way to create wealth and decrease global inequality. Braz has an extensive of network of local partners (community centers, banks, charity organizations) in the developing countries. Local trusted partners source and screen entrepreneur's business ideas and handle the local loan transactions.
